Miss Marie Noëlla Meunier, aged 41, diagnosed with Systemic Iupus Crythematosus (SLE) since 2016, received her motorised wheelchair on 6 October 2021 from the Hope Initiative Department of the Global Rainbow Foundation. Her sheer happiness and excitement was visible on her face. “I can now move around independently,” she confided.

Miss Marie Noëlla Meunier is a young teacher who works at the RCA school in Vieux Grand Port. The motorised wheelchair will allow her to discover the joys of independence and mobility.

The Hope Initiative wishes to bring not only happiness but also dignity and respect to its beneficiaries in society, and above all to help them to be independent and mobile.
